European Geothermal Innovation & Capital Summit 2026 (EGICS’26).

A sincere thank you to the organisers of the European Geothermal Innovation & Capital Summit 2026 (EGICS’26) for the invitation to participate in this year’s event in Munich.

It was a pleasure to reconnect with long-standing friends, colleagues and industry contacts, while also meeting new faces, innovative thinkers and inspiring leaders from across the geothermal, energy and investment sectors.

The discussions throughout the summit highlighted both the tremendous opportunities and the challenges ahead for our industry. What stood out was the shared ambition to move geothermal energy beyond its traditional boundaries and establish it as a major contributor to reliable, sustainable and commercially competitive energy supply.

For us at Catoxy Energy, it was particularly encouraging to see how strongly many of the discussions resonated with our own vision and strategic direction. Bringing together technical expertise, financial capabilities, innovative approaches and commercial thinking will be essential to unlocking geothermal energy’s full potential.

Events like EGICS demonstrate the importance of collaboration, exchanging perspectives and building the relationships needed to turn ambitious ideas into real projects.
