Our history
Catoxy Energy was born from the combined experience, expertise and shared vision of several established enterprises and joint ventures in the energy and finance sectors that had collaborated over many years across the international energy and energy infrastructure industries. What began as a network of complementary businesses, technical specialists, investors, financial institutions and industry professionals evolved into a unified ambition: to establish a fully integrated energy company capable of delivering reliable, sustainable and commercially competitive geothermal energy at scale.
Following years of strategic planning, technical evaluation, partnership development and commercial preparation, Catoxy Energy was formally launched as a unique, integrated geothermal energy platform, bringing together the technical, financial, commercial and operational capabilities required to develop and deliver large-scale energy infrastructure projects internationally.
Our approach goes beyond conventional geothermal project development. Catoxy integrates the entire energy value chain, from opportunity identification, acquisition and resource evaluation through financing, engineering and construction to long-term ownership, operation and optimization. Our business model is built around developing, financing, building, owning and operating geothermal energy assets that deliver dependable, low-carbon baseload electricity, heat, cooling and eventually hydrogen.
Today, Catoxy focuses on industrial customers, data centres, utilities and public-sector offtakers, aiming to provide secure, predictable and resilient energy solutions through long-term commercial partnerships. By combining decades of international energy experience with advanced geothermal technologies and an integrated execution model, Catoxy is positioned to accelerate the deployment of 24/7 renewable baseload energy, supporting the global transition towards sustainable, competitive and resilient energy infrastructure.

The world does not simply need more energy. It needs better energy — reliable, affordable, scalable and available whenever it is required.
Geothermal energy has the potential to become one of the defining energy sources of the coming decades. It is continuous, locally available and capable of delivering electricity, heat, cooling and hydrogen from the same underlying resource. It can power cities, industries and digital infrastructure with dependable output, independent of external conditions.
Yet much of this potential remains untapped. Catoxy Energy was established to change that.

We take projects from resource evaluation and concept selection through engineering, financing and construction — so the assumptions made in the subsurface carry through to how each asset is financed, built and later run, rather than being lost at each handover.

Discipline and governance
Catoxy approaches geothermal not as a series of individual projects but as a long-term infrastructure platform, and governs it accordingly. Capital is allocated with institutional discipline, oversight is deliberate, and every claim we publish is written to withstand third-party technical and commercial diligence.
Geothermal is among the lowest-carbon, highest-availability energy sources available, and we intend to develop it to a standard that holds up on safety and on environmental impact. Where emissions benefits are quantified, we account for them as guarantees of origin and avoided-emissions accounting, under recognised frameworks — never as speculative instruments.
